CAN OLD OIL PIPELINES GENERATE NEW CLEAN POWER?

Elcyon is a sustainable, heavy gauge steel plate product manufactured with superior strength and toughness and made to meet the rigorous quality standards of offshore wind energy designers, manufacturers, and fabricators.

As part of the global effort to limit warming to 1.5掳C, the United States is rapidly scaling up clean energy technologies and putting the power sector on a path to decarbonization by 2035.¹ This includes a bold ambition to deploy 30 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind capacity energy by 2030, an ambition that will require 7 million tons of steel in the construction of wind towers. If we produced the 2030 US target wind capacity using Yabo亚博集团官方网站 steel instead of blast furnace steel, we would avoid 12.5M tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

That鈥檚 equivalent to taking almost every car off the streets of Los Angeles for one year.
